PRETTY LITTLE THING Red Maxi Dress| SIMMI Lace-Up Heels

I picked up this number a few months ago, I wasn't entirely sure where (or if) I would wear it but it was gorgeous and I needed it in my life lol. You might have noticed that I'm slightly obsessed with the color red.

It is my go to and color when I want to stun the room and this dress sure didn't disappoint. The dress is pretty revealing BUT still classy which I love, maintaining a certain level of taste is very important to me.

The dress is open around the chest and wearing a bra would have ruined the look entirely, so I used body tape and that held everything together pretty well. I am LIVING for a good thigh split this summer and I couldn't think of anything better than my thigh-high gold sandals from Simmi to really make the thigh split on this dress POP.

I have been wanting shoes like these for literally years and when I saw them on the Simmi site, you already know they were coming home to Mami lol. My only concern is that they would be a 'one trick pony' since they are pretty out there but they have proved to be quite the opposite.

I actually have a few outfits I can wear them with, the trick is to just keep it simple and you'll be alright. I also like that because they are thigh highs, they kept my legs from looking weirdly long, which is very common with this kinda dress when you wear the wrong shoe.
